Our Team
John Douglas | Director
John brings 18 years of experience to the forefront of the Kick Building team. From 2011 to 2014, he served as a project manager on the highly successful James Street in Brisbane. He continued in project management roles for a mid-tier construction firm, overseeing the construction of various commercial buildings along the eastern seaboard of Australia.
After running his own building company for 18 months, John moved to London to work as a pre-construction director for two of the city's top-tier design and build firms. During his time in London, he worked on projects ranging from £1m to £10m for high-profile clients such as Uber, AXA,MUFG, Brown–Foreman, and TomTom. At the end of 2021 John returned to Byron Bay where he formed Kick Building.
